Daily work reports in Trovve provide managers with insights into team progress and productivity. This guide explains how to assign managers, require mandatory reports, and submit daily work summaries.
1. Assigning Managers
Only users with assigned managers can submit daily work reports. Follow these steps to assign a manager:

Access Settings:
- Click on your profile picture or initials at the bottom of the main menu.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Users Tab:
- In the Settings menu, click on the Users tab.

Assign a Manager:
- Click on the name of the user you want to assign a manager to.
- Locate the Manager field and select the manager from the dropdown list.
- Note: Managers must be Trovve users to appear in the dropdown.
- Click Save to confirm.
- Important: Only admins can perform this action.
2. Requiring Daily Work Reports
To make work reports mandatory during checkout:

Open General Settings:
- In the Settings menu, go to the General tab.

Enable Mandatory Reports:
- Check the box labeled Require work summary during checkout.
- This ensures all users must submit a daily report when wrapping up their day.
3. Submitting a Daily Work Report
Follow these steps to submit a daily report:

Click the Wrap Button:
- On your main dashboard, click the Wrap button when you’re ready to end your day.

- Fill in the required fields, which include:
- A summary of hours worked.
- Tasks completed during the day.

4. Notifications & Alerts
- End-of-Day Reminder:
- Users will receive a notification a few minutes before their work schedule ends to remind them to wrap up their day.
- These reminders are sent via Microsoft Teams through the TrovveBot.
