Trovve lets you easily access, organize, and manage your OneDrive files. Follow these steps to navigate, create, and manage files and folders within OneDrive.
Accessing OneDrive Files
- Click Files in the main menu.
- By default, you'll land on the Team Resources page.
- To switch to your OneDrive:
- Click the Team Resources dropdown.
- Select My Files.
- Your OneDrive files and folders will be displayed alphabetically.
Managing Files and Folders
Create New Files or Folders
- Click the + New Item button to create a new file or folder.
Select and Manage Multiple Files
- Click the Select button (next to the X Close button).
- Choose one or more files or folders.
- Use the available options to:
- Move: Transfer files to:
- Subfolders in the current library.
- A different location (e.g., another folder or SharePoint library).
- Copy: Create a duplicate file in:
- The current library.
- Another folder or location.
- Delete: Permanently remove the selected files.
- Move: Transfer files to:
Perform File-Specific Actions
- Click the 3 dots menu next to any file or folder to access more options:
- Share
- Open the file’s location in OneDrive
- Add to Shortcuts
- Convert to task and more
Navigating Folders
- Explore Subfolders:
- Click on a folder name to view its contents.
- Open Files:
- Files will automatically open in a new browser tab.
- Changes made in the file are updated in OneDrive instantly.
