How to Make the Most of 'My Day' in Trovve

What is 'My Day'?

'My Day' is your personal command center in Trovve. It helps you manage your daily tasks, keep track of meetings, and stay organized - all in one place.

Setting Up Your Sections

Create Custom Sections

  1. Click the arrow next to 'Add Task' on your toolbar
  2. Select 'Create Section'
  3. Choose a name or use 'Get Ideas' for suggestions

Organize Your Sections

  • Move sections: Drag using the dots (⋮) on the left
  • Edit or delete: Click three dots (⋯) on the right
  • Note: The "Today's Focus" section is fixed and can't be changed

Managing Your Tasks

Add New Tasks

  1. Click 'Add Task'
  2. Fill in:
    • Task name
    • Start/end dates
    • Which section it belongs in
    • Optional: Link to projects, files, or contacts

Organize Tasks

  • Move tasks: Drag using dots next to the circle button
  • Sort automatically: Use 'Sort By' for different options:
    • Start date
    • End date
    • Alphabetical order
    • Priority level

Tracking Your Meetings

Use the Event Widget

  • Find it: Top right of your screen
  • Shows: Your next meeting + number of other meetings
  • Quick actions: Click meeting name to view or edit
  • See more: Click '+x' to expand meeting list

Handling Task Status

Completed Tasks

  • Finished tasks move to 'Completed' at bottom
  • Clears automatically each day

Reassigned Tasks

  • Show up above 'Completed' section
  • Want it back? Click three dots (⋯) → 'Add to My Day'

Extra Features

Check Your Work History

  • Click 'Work History' in toolbar
  • See: Last 30 days of task activity

Task Actions

  • View details: Click the task
  • Postpone: Click three dots (⋯) → 'Do Later'
  • Other options:
    • Copy task
    • Mark as important
    • Delete

Multitasking Tips

  • Open multiple items at once
  • View tasks, contacts, or projects side by side
  • Click items in main menu to open them together

Pro Tips

  • Review and update your tasks daily
  • Use sections to group similar tasks
  • Check your Work History to track productivity
  • Keep your most important tasks in "Today's Focus"
